The team takes on New York

The ballroom team just got home from the trip to New York.  We had a great experience and learned a lot at our dance instruction at Manhattan Ballroom.  The crowd at the Intrepid Museum loved our performance.  We saw the show Stomp which was amazing!  Pictures are under "Pages - New York".

Ballroom Tryouts for the 2015-2016 Year

Ballroom tryouts for next year's team will be:

April 15 from 6-8 pm in the small gym
April 16 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Little Theater

Boys Dress:  Black dress pants and white dress shirt and tie.
Girls Dress:  White top, dark skirt, hair pulled back and have a dance shoe or shoe with a heal.

ABSOLUTELY NO SNEAKERS!

Tryouts are open to incoming 9th graders enrolled at Mountain Ridge, Timberline and American Fork Junior High.  They are also open to students at American Fork High School and Lone Peak High School.

The Ballroom class is held during A1 with some early morning practices on A days.

NY TRIP - Parent Meeting

We will be having a parent meeting on Thursday, February 19.  The meeting will start at 6:00 pm and will be in the Little Theater.  We will go over the itinerary for the trip and answer any questions.  Students are also welcome to attend.

Ballroom Winter Concert

Don't miss the ballroom concert tonight at Lone Peak High School.  Tickets are $5 for students, $6 for adults and $20 for immediate family members.  Each single ticket purchased will receive 1 raffle ticket and a family ticket purchased will receive 4 raffle tickets.  Additional raffle tickets can be purchased: $5 for 1 ticket, $10 for 3 tickets, $20 for 7 tickets and $50 for 20 tickets.  The more you buy, the more chances you have to win one of several fabulous prizes!

There will be a Silent Auction bidding from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.  At intermission there will be 15 minutes for final bidding of auction items.

There will be 3 raffle sessions in between performance numbers.  The final one will be at the end of the concert and will feature our grand prize - a Thomas Kinkade Victorian Christmas print.

Parent Meeting

There will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, September 24 at 6:15 pm in the small gym.  We will be discussing the spring tour and hold a parent vote.
