Parent Meeting

There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, May 8 at 7:00 pm in the small gym.  This is for new AND returning students.  We will have disclosure documents you need to sign as well as dates and other important information.  See you there!

Summer Dates

Thursday, June 14 at 7:30 am we will be meeting at the high school and going to Camp Williams where we will complete their Leadership Development course.  Come dressed in jeans and sneakers and ready to climb, think and work together as a team.

Summer camp will be held for two weeks: July 30-August 4 and August 6-10 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm.  Bring your dance shoes and get ready to learn our new routines.

There will be "mini" workshops held all summer for the whole team.  Each week we will be working on a different dance.  For the beginners this is a great chance to learn dances you have never done before, and for the more experienced dancers it is a good time to get your callouses ready for summer camp as well as help the new team members.

Ballroom Tryouts Posting Delayed

We're not trying to cause ulcers for all of you that tried out for the Ballroom team and are anxiously awaiting the results.  Unfortunately the results won't be posted until Saturday.  The good news is there is one more young man that will be trying out.  This is good news because if he makes it, we will be able to have one more girl on the team (we generally have 4 more girls than the number of guys on the team).

Results will be posted on this website on Saturday, April 28.

Spring Concert

The Spring concert will be held Wednesday, May 2 and Thursday, May 3 at 7:00 pm in the LPHS auditorium.  Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens.  Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Ballroom Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2012-2013 school year will be held Thursday, April 19 and Friday, April 20 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the Lone Peak small gym. Thursday girls need to have a dance shoe or a shoe with a heel. Boys need to be in church pants and have a dance shoe or church shoe. NO SNEAKERS!!!

Friday girls need to have their hair pulled back and out of their face. They need to wear a skirt (preferably black and one that does NOT go to the floor), a white shirt and a dance shoe. Guys need to be in church pants, white shirt and tie and have a dance shoe or church shoe.

Results will be posted on Friday, April 27. There will be a parent meeting the first of May for those that make the team to go over the details of the team and everything you need to know.
