The ballroom team was asked to perform in the Harry Potter welcome back assembly. The dance was fun and got the crowd into the spirit.

Fundraiser
We are planning on going to Disneyland at the end of the year so start saving now! There will be a parents meeting in September to discuss the details of the trip. To help you pay for the trip, we will be having a fundraiser at the high school's registration where we will be taking orders for these awesome statues. At the Ballroom Camp there will be sign up sheets for shifts of people sitting at the table during registration. We MUST have parents sign up as well since students are not allowed to take money.
Please note that while an engraved plate on the base of the Knight with the student's name and graduation date is wonderful, we won't be doing those. There are several businesses in the area that can do engraving. We just don't happen to be one of them. Instead, we dance.

Ballroom Summer Camp
We're hoping you're having a wonderful summer. It seems to be going very quickly. Ballroom camp is coming up so mark your calendars. Camp will be held at the high school in the little gym on:

The list has been posted for the 2011-2012 ballroom dance team! Stop by the small gym and check out the list just outside the entrance. Congratulations to those that made it! For those that didn't make it, don't give up. Consider taking private lessons or the Social Dance class and try out again next year.
