Next year's dance team
The list has been posted for the 2011-2012 ballroom dance team! Stop by the small gym and check out the list just outside the entrance. Congratulations to those that made it! For those that didn't make it, don't give up. Consider taking private lessons or the Social Dance class and try out again next year.

Spring Concert this Weekend
The Spring Concert will be held this Friday and Saturday in the Lone Peak High School auditorium. Concert begins at 7:00. Admission is $5 per person or $25 for families. If you are interested in auditioning for next year this is the perfect chance to get a feel for what you will be learning and what you are signing up for. We hope to see you there!

Ballroom Tryouts
It is time for tryouts for the 2011-2012 year!!!
Monday, May 9 from 3:00-5:00 - Meet in the small gym at Lone Peak. You will be learning a simple Cha Cha and Waltz routine and will be able to practice with members that were previously on team.
Tuesday, May 10 from 5:00-6:00 - There is a parent meeting in the Little Theater. Parents will receive information on what is expected, upcoming events, etc.
Wednesday, May 11 from 3:00-5:00 - Tryouts! You will perform in front of a panel of judges to decide next years team. Those that haven't been on the team before will be paired with someone that was on the team this year.

LPHS made the Newspaper
On Sunday, March 27, 2011 the Daily Herald did an article about the Lone Peak ballroom team and the fantastic job they did at BYU's Nationals. The article had a large picture of the team and it had quotes from Ryan and Megan. Keep it up Ballroom!
