Although it was an extremely cold night, the ballroom team helped heat up the stadium during the halftime show.  Next year maybe we perform wearing LONG sleeves! Pictures can be viewed under Pages : 2013 Semi-final football halftime show.

2013-2014 Homecoming Rehearsals

Tryout makeups

For those that were not able to make it to the tryouts for the 2013-2014 team, there will be a makeup date on Friday, May 24 at 4:00 pm in the Lone Peak High School small gym.

Closing Social

The closing social will be Friday, May 24 at 5:00 pm.  Because this is a public forum, we will not be posting the address.  Students will receive the address on Monday.  This is for all current students and their parents.

Bring a swimming suit, towel and a food assignment that will be given out on Monday.  If you ordered a copy of the Concert DVD, they should be available to pick up that night.  It isn't too late to order or pay for your copy if you ordered one.

Spring Concert

The Lone Peak High School Ballroom Team will be presenting their Spring Concert on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15.  The concert starts at 7:00 pm.  Tickets can be purchased at the door that night - $4 for students and $5 for adults.

Ballroom Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2013-2014 school year will be held Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the Lone Peak small gym. Thursday girls need to have a dance shoe or a shoe with a heel. Boys need to be in church pants and have a dance shoe or church shoe. NO SNEAKERS!!!

Friday girls need to have their hair pulled back and out of their face. They need to wear a skirt (preferably black and one that does NOT go to the floor), a white shirt and a dance shoe. Guys need to be in church pants, white shirt and tie and have a dance shoe or church shoe.

Results will be posted on May 29. Good luck!

Covey Center Performance

We have been asked to perform at the Covey Center for the Arts on Tuesday, April 9.  Students need to be at the center by 6:15 pm.  The Center is located at 425 W Center in Provo.  Tickets are $10 a piece and each student is encouraged to sell 5 tickets.  Part of the proceeds of our ticket sales will go to our ballroom program.

Parent Meeting

Our California trip is quickly approaching!  We will be having a parent meeting on Thursday, March 14 at 7:00 pm in the ballroom gym.  Have  your parents attend so they can get all the information and have any questions answered.

UVU Competition

Provo High and Center Stage Competitions

Don't forget the deadlines are coming very fast for these 2 competitions!  The Provo High deadline is Friday, January 11 and the deadline for Center Stage is Wednesday, January 23.  Entry forms can be found here on this website under the Competition page.
